Note: To maintain low power consumption, the keypad defaults to a dimly lit state. Simply approach it with the back of your hand to illuminate the keyboard for convenient use.

As for the technical specifications, the TE217 smart lock only supports connectivity to a 2.4GHz network and should be within 10 meters of your router for optimal performance. It works well with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant devices but currently does not support Apple HomeKit, IFTTT, or Matter.

If the batteries are completely drained, you'll be alerted when the power drops below 20%. You can use the emergency Type-C port for a quick charge, but it's recommended to replace the 4AA lithium batteries as soon as possible. Additionally, the lock comes with 2 mechanical keys for emergency access.

Regarding data security, all your information is stored in US-based Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers, with AES256 and SSL providing bank-grade encryption.
