The Connected by August Kit allows you to lock/unlock, share access, and monitor who comes and goes, all through the August app. For ultimate convenience, your Assure Lock will automatically unlock as you approach the door and relock once it's closed. You can also control your lock with voice assistants like Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri.

The Yale Access App enables you to control and monitor your first-generation Yale Assure Lock or Lever from anywhere (not compatible with the Yale Assure Lock 2 second-generation product). Ensure the right fit by measuring your door's backset, cross bore, and thickness.

Lock, unlock, share access, and see who comes and goes from anywhere using the Yale Access App – no additional hub is needed, as Wi-Fi Connect is included. Your door will unlock automatically as you get home and have your phone on you. If you don't have your phone, you can use the keypad.

Voice assistants like Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri allow you to lock, unlock, and check the lock status. Alexa can also notify you when your battery is running low, and you can set up smart reorders through Dash Replenishment to have replacement batteries on hand.

The lock is compatible with Apple HomeKit, allowing you to create scenes, use Siri voice controls, and more. Added security features include bank-grade encryption, a lost phone feature, and optional biometric verification for locking/unlocking via the app, giving you peace of mind.
